    Quarter Turn Fastener for Disco 2 Fan Cowl (PZM100060)

    Not really a "Technical" question as such but, is there a generic part for the quarter turn fasteners for the fan cowl of a Disco 2? An identical part from another make/model of vehicle?

    I only need to the one but I'm not too keen about paying $22.50 for it...

    Nope, one and only. They are cheaper in the UK e.g. https://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.p...wl_discovery_2 if you need any other parts can combine with and save on the postage...

    Ha, I just bought 2 from LR Direct as part of an order for LR original injector washers and orings. Geez the washers and orings are expensive.

    It has bugged me for a while that I have to use a zip tie. One day I will find it's father in the bottom of the engine bay I am sure.

      You were right. They must have been in GBP although I am sure it was AUD when I looked.
