welding the engine in place would be next then,,,[bighmmm]
My first rotoflex lasted over 200k and I only replaced it for peace of mind (looked great and is my spare) and second is at 100,000 working with a 2 inch lift so very pleased. GKN though. Lot of.towing and offroading too. Having said that at 335,000 i can feel some slight clunking in the rear diff so it's on borrowed time. Cheers
C'mon no need to be smart were talking uni joints not engine mounts here :) I do hear wear you come from tho. Never had any other car with the Rotoflex it's only there for comfort and maybe to save a diff but a locker will kill a diff quicker than a uni imo. What I do love about the Rotoflex is you can change it in about 5 mins! That's about it though. You guys need a can of worms icon in emotions hahaha [emoji106] [emoji106]
Stronger than welding the engine in place. LS unbreakable mounts.

I think in any LandRover context they are truly going to be unbreakable . The Nut will pull through the Engine mount outrigger first.

A stronger Rotoflex possibility.
What happened to your Discovery 2 today?
Not sure if he went stock or the thicker version?
Hopefully he sees this thread and chimes in.
