    carpeting a perentie dash

    g'day guys,

found this pic on the REMLR forums (i believe its from the camper conversion that PJ did) and was wondering if anyone knew how to replicate the results of his efforts. the carpet looks like its been moulded around the dash and not just cut and glued which would leave ugly corners.

Looks like it is the stretchy stuff you can buy - not sure exactly what it is called but you can buy stretchable carpet. I've seen it used but not used it myself.

Just had a quick look - it comes up as 'flexible auto carpet' - seems to be easily available from the states via fleabay but didn't see anything in Aus from my quick search, although a Bunnings auto carpet came up but not sure if that is the flexible stuff - might pay to check though, it could ge that easy.
