You beat me to it. I'll retract my previous statement! I just came back from changing the oil and they're definitely not standard. My memory associated worn and black with standard, not the actual shape/size. The flanges are pretty industrial looking, hexagonal base with solid cylinder ends.

Its a Maxi Drive carrier in a RRC housing . Pre Metric .

I used to install those exact diff locks for Mal Storey whenever someone in LROCV wanted one. Mid 80's

When you do an oil change measure the correct volume of oil to go in (1.7L).

If I went by the front plug on the last front diff I had it would end up with over 2L in it and leaked like crazy out the hub seals.

The owner's manual I have says to fill to the bottom of fill hole on the side of your rear diff, but I always use a measured amount these days.
