What models are you fitting it to?

In the D2 I've made up a mount in the LH rear side of the engine bay. A vertical plate as a heat shield and to mount the catch can and breather collection point and the air distribution on, on the outside of this (away from the engine) a flat plate with room for the compressor and other stuff.

Finishing it off on Wed so will get some pics. As for heat, I always thought, from dual battery reports in D2's< that the TD5 got hotter as they killed batteries with the turbo heat.

That's where mine is on the D2
The outlet is on a mounted bracket facing rearwards next the mounted switch.
Turning on and coupling the hose is done with the rear door open so it's all dust/mud free on trips
    Cheers, Kyle

Actually I do. But it's only running tyres at the moment and the the hose connects directly to the compressor. It will be plumbed into the sliders which are sealed for storage and run out to an outlet F&R. The winch free spool is run by solenoid control with its own switch with the inside controls plus the controls on the front.
