I had the same problem about a month ago. The outlet is way back (about level with the passenger seat) on the left side and on the chassis rail. I just gave mine a squeeze and it was clear.
Hope it's that simple for you.

Hi all I need your advice.
The waste water outlet for my Series 2 Disco (V8 auto - yr 2000) airconditioner is blocked and I was wondering if anyone knew how to rectify the problem. I had a look around and under the thing yesterday and couldn't find anything that looked like an outlet.
Cheers
Chief

Hi Chief
Look for a balloon looking thing where wardy described, there is one on the drivers side too.The common fix is to cut the balloon off.The idea of it is to stop water getting back into the cab in deep water crossings. The idea may be good but before the water gets in thru those hoses its well and truely flooding in thru the door seals

The ends of the hoses are rose bud valves.
If you pull on them they will pull out of the tube(just the last 15mm or so) and can be replaced whenever you want.... dont know why you would want to put them back though. 8O

In this case I already had the photo. I'd taken and annotated it for a heater O-ring repair page on the rangervers.net website.

The one in that photo is quite differant to the ones on my 01/02 disco. The ones on my disco are pointed(like an unopened rose bud) and are fittrd to tubes. the tubes actually protrude slightly from the body work.
If anyone can tell me how to post photos to the forums I would take a shot.. 8O ... imageshck is not working for me.![]()
