That part number is just for the shaft and the inner cv joint. What year is it?
There are different part numbers for different years
Trying to help out a friend that is in Cambodia with blown front CV joints on his LH drive diesel Freelander 1 car. The only P/N that I can find is:
TDR500230. I am not familiar with these and the local supplier is not of much help, except to say that what they want to supply are complete with drive shafts.
So is anyone up to date with these things? Are both sides the same, is there other parts that should be replaced such as gaskets, oil seals etc? Any hidden traps? Any help would be really appreciated as the language barrier here makes it very difficult to get good advice. Cheers.

Thanks very much. He says it is a 2005, LH Drive, Diesel engine. SALLNABE25A445370
The place in Bangkok(not the dealer)showed me a set this morning, but he says only up to 2003. Claims the later ones are in Bangkok he just doesn't have them in stock. These are the ones he showed me, but evidently the wrong ones: TDB104030 RH, TDB104020
Would you have the correct part numbers? Any thing else that should be replaced at the same time? Cheers.
TDB104990 is the left and TDB104980 is the right

Hello woko. I cannot find the IRD on the Microcat that I am using. Can you tell me anything about how the CV joint fits into the
IRD? I looks like it just slides in, but what keeps it there apart from being between the hub and IRD?
What is bothering me is how or what seals the oil in. I found a good video on the Internet, but he does not mention anything about oil seals while replacing both drive shafts as complete units. I found the following number, but it is confusing me as it also says one side seal is in the diff, and the other in the IRD casing. TRX000010, I believe this is the LH side?
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
The seal in the IRD is UNG100060L. The shaft have a clip on the splines that hold the inner cv joint in on both sides.
