Me again. I still have this issue when the engine under load (not under high revs) pings. It seems to generally happen at about 2200 rpm going up a hill under normal driving condition when the gearbox is just about ready to drop a gear, hense maximun load at low revs. The pinging varies in intensity and length. I have tried the whole fuel thing and only run 98 octane juice (and tried a few different brands) but it seems it is no different. I have also had an engine clean via the injectors just in case there was a carbod deposit issue causting pre-ignition-no different (didn't really expect it with 50k on the clock). The gear-box has been reset and re-synchronised which has made the gear change slightly better but the pinging issue has not changed. No alarms are coming up on the diagnostics computer either.

Has anyone experienced this problem? I am going banannas trying to get this sorted. I am taking it to a different dealer this time to see if they are any more interested in sorting it out as it is still under warranty.

Please help!
