    Galvinised or Stainless hinge bolts

Has any one done or heard of hot diping the ends(outside face) of door hinge bolts. Second option finding stainles bolts to replace the scabby ones, the poms do a mail order kit but im shure theres some to match closer to home. :?:

i think you'll find the original ones are gal... but the ****ty hinges (cast iron?) and alloy body = rust etc

i replaced mine with stainless ones, just went to my local "bolt in", took one out and showed them.... there are two lenghts in the hinges btw

just had to grind the heads down a little to make them fit...bugger of a job holding the nut in behind the door linning... nearly ripped the doors off and set the whole thing on fire, it ****ed me off that bad.

naa, they're just the Poms revenge on the rest of the old Empire for daring to cut the apron strings.

or is it the reason they lost the Empire in the first place.....
