TD5 Timing Chain Guides and Timing Pins

					Hi All,
This is a followup and Update to my already frustrating TD5 head saga.
All started when I picked up a D2 TD5 nice and cheap needing little more than a double cardan joint and some replacement exhaust studs.
Some of exhaust studs were recalcitrant meaning I inevitably buggered it up (including drilling through the water jacket).
Not to worry, I'll just have my donor head skimmed and plonk it on!
Well, in my haste to get the buggered head off, I scrapped it across the timing chain and broke off a piece of the chain tension guide.
So now I guess it's timing cover off and guide replacement time.
I've not done this before and can't find my Rave so off to the internets!
Question - Does anyone in SEQ have a set of TD5 timing pins I could borrow sometime over the next couple of weeks or months?
Frustrated to say the least! This project is dragging on as I only get a few days every month or so.
Cheers
Ralph

if you mean the pins to lock flywheel and the top cam sprocket ?? make your own. i got a bolt from a " bolts and fasterners "shop.
take the short bolt from bell housing with you ( i think it was m14 ) as example. get a long one. grind end to a point. locks of flywheel perfectly.
top sprocket:- memory says a 6mm drill bit will fit.
job done. hope this helps. pete :-)
