Maybe next time you are near the RTA, call in and ask!!
Phoning may be a waste of time. You might get lucky with an email.
Surely there are enough Maxda's etc with them to have set a precedent tho??
Some hopefull had tabs on my LANDIE plates and whenever I changed the colour (twice anyway) they would say some other twit owned them (as against the twit who does )and I had to take the original paperwork in to prove I own them. Waste of time over the phone.

    I kinda rear ended one.
One of the local hoons set up red/blue flashing lights on his hoonmobile and made the mistake of nearly running me over- I was walking the dog- he pulled over a mate -who nearly died of fright, It was a good joke I guess, but I musta been in a bad mood coz I rang the local cops and politely ( I put on the dumb citizen act) said it is a bit confusing all these lights these guys put on thier cars, this one looked just like a police car, but it was OK, he knew the guy he pulled over...
The policeman said you would'nt have got the number plate did you?.
    Funny how I did.
I might have got a fright that night but I would have loved to seen the look on this guys face.

DullBird - you will be fine. As long as they blink orange it doesn't matter what colour they are when not blinking. I got my other car upgraded with newer model blinkers which are clear - all from the official dealer. Makes the whole car look a few years newer.
