has anyone else had this problem

    hi guys

i have a problem where on occasions when i'm breaking my pedal feels like it is catching!!!!

and makes a banging noise.......it mainly happens at slow speed, and it happens when slowing on the breaks and turning or slowing on the breaks in a straight line..........

the problem is it doesn't happen all the time and i can't seem to be able to recreate it........ like it happen to me this morning pulling out of the garage and stoping at the edge of the road to wait for a car to pass.....

now i haven't done anything different and i do the same manouver almost everyday so why it has happened i don't know

ian reckons that i'm fooling the abs and its kicking in, but i think that it's something else.....

the breaks them selves work fine as we have tested them by doing a couple of emergencie stops, but one other thing is my breaks do pulse a little when slowing down gently- you can feel it under your foot,

we had just assumed that the disc's were slightly warped........

all breaks have pads although there is less wear from the fronts than the backs........

has anyone got any ideas.......i find it hard to describe, it sounds like it could be abs from the banging noise it creates but it does not feel right the resistance goes from under the pedal and well like i said the only way to describe the feeling of the pedal is that it feels like it is catching on something maybe metal...............

    any advice greatly appreciated

I think the pulsing is the abs.

It sounds like the discs are warped, ide get them machined, you can get them done on car to save stuffing around or if you havnt repacked your wheel bearings in a while just take them off and you can get both done at the same time
