LT230 PTO Drive
There appears to be a few versions......
I’ve got the chain driven version and without measuring is about 300mm long +/-. I spotted two versions that mount in positions/orientations.
Mine has the output at 6 o’clock
The other version has the output at 9 o’clock
From memory the orientation is determined by the bolt pattern on the t-case output.
Just wondering if it’s as easy as it looks to re-position the holes on my PTO so that it mounts at 9 o’clock??
There is a few reason why I want to do this
- tucks the drive away from harm @ 6 o’clock the drive sits lower than t-case
- positions the drive shafts better in relation to the exhaust, at the moment I’m struggling for space on the TD5
- pretty sure it puts the output shaft higher than the t-case oil level
