George the 285 70 R16 on offset rims how much is the offset . Without the offsets would they hit the steering gaurd.
if you don't mind me asking how much would i be looking at to give my 130 a two inch lift. if i did that i would then have to do brake lines and stuff yeh or na excuse my lack of knowledge i'm a chef by trade trying to pretend i know how to do this.
I like the 285 70 R16s there a good size i reckon i could see my Landy Wearing them...

****e... I just typed a very long reply and the computer timed out.. ..
Gist of it, under $1000 for a lift, longer shocks, rims and 35" simex's. Very minimal mods needed.
Miles of travel and articulation
Call on 0408820237 coz I H8 typing

Q i like the Cooper STTs how big can i go without suspention mods

I was also thinking about removing the front and rear sway bars is this wise , To acheive better articulation will i have to modify brake lines and stuff or will just removing the sway bars do it.

She just recieved a new set of old man emu shocks i think that they are just standard size maybe a cm or two longer.

thanx for helping this is my first Landy i've owned and i think hooked i spent a week 4wd around mt stirling seeing about 15 high country huts did my first ever river crossing or about 10 all told, we were travalling 2 up with my mate in his 75series by the end of the trip i was going to put a sign on the door TOYOTA RECOVERY VEHICLE i cant remember how many times i had get the snatch strap out for him .
any way I'll look foward to reading your veiw.

Not certain of the offsets. Mine rub on full wheel lock but I was never able to find the stops that everyone says to wind out. Maybee the previous owner just removed them. The suspension set on mine cost $2,962 acording to the receipts that came with the rig. The rims were $285 each.
But it does have LTR's all round with heavy duty springs. I got quotes of replacement tyres at $350 each. I plan to dwn size to thinner tyres once these are totally cactus. I do like the distance I have got out of them though 57,000km so far and they wern't new when I bought the rig.
