my defender fuel cap is leaking when off road or going around bends when the tank is full or near full

so is there a fix for this due to the price of fuel it is a concern

it is not a major leak but its enough to leave a fairly damp oily section on my quarter panel

steer clear of the silly answers like put the cap on as it is , and it is on properly

Try adjusting/bending the tabs under the cap so you get more force on the seal when you do it up.

Mine used to leak pretty bad but after I adjusted the tabs it's not so bad.

Still leaks a little when it's really swaying but I live with it.
Cheers

The Aunger type cap for the Commodore is a direct replacement form Supercheap etc. I found this out as I was not going to pay $90 for a landy one. If it is the older flat type I have a brand new lockable one here. Yours for the cost of freight if wanted. A digital pic will tell me.
