Often start at normal height and only lift if the sand warrants it. Disco4 ability in sand

In real soft stuff I hit off road height always, and if over 50km/hr I hold the button down continually.
Dunno if that helps to keep it up as I am usually to busy keeping an eye on what is going on.

Although I shot up one of the harder tracks on big red not to long ago with button pushed all the time and the vehicle was still up when I got to the top, although I recon for a good part of the climb I was over 50 km/hr.

And the spectators in their 70 series couldn’t believe their eyes

Yer,I know I should get LLAMS.....

    18" A/Ts on Disco 4

The little bits of soft stuff I've encountered up the Cape I went ok running 265/60-18s - a touch bigger than standard 255/60s.
I had some 2nd hand Coopers on the front for awhile but now I've got the Falken Wildpeak A/Ts all around and they are lovely; more sure footed than 255/60s; big shoulder protection in hard rock like Palmer River etc. but still hoon around town like a demon.
I'm not aware of any good A/Ts being available in 19" and 20" but the Falkens have allowed me to run on the standard 18" alloys.
And if you have an e-diff you'll not regret it.
On the beach at Iron Range with whats left of a B24 Liberator...
    Cheers.
