    Defender ABS Brake Fluid Leak

    Hi all,
We have a brake fluid leak we cant track down. It appears to be coming from the WABCO Pump area or master cylinder reservoir, but cant determine. We have had a puddle of brake fluid under the car and in the foot well. Pretty sure not the clutch master cylinder as fluid level has only dropped in the brake reservoir not the clutch fluid reservoir.
Does not appear to be the unions where the pipes enter or leave the WABCO unit.
Can see fluid underneath, but cant determine where it is coming from as no real pooling or dripping. The unit being in a bad position is difficult to see below, is there anywhere underneath they can leak from?
The odd thing is it seems to have dumped about 50-100mls and then stopped.
    Any ideas please.
    Cheers

Not sure if the Defender is the same, but the Discovery with ABS has a pressure reducing proportioning valve. Known to leak and difficult to see where from.

Similar looking valve to this: https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-ANR3194

    No I know mine doesn’t
Craig you can get the modulator out with difficulty
They often leak at the shuttle valves or there could be some other issue
Never seen one leak that severely from the modulator

What is weird is it seems to have stopped, it is not a constant leak. Has me baffled, but yes can get the modulator out as have replaced the shuttle valve about 3 years ago so maybe there, just a PIA job in a Defender.
    Cheers
