    TD5 03-07 fault in Defender

Hi everyone, I have a 03-07 air flow fault. I have put in a brand new genuine MAF, new air filter, cleaned out the air cleaner box, and I am still getting it. It will not come on when stationary, but as soon as you move it will come up. What are the possibilities

Hi, what kind of diagnostic tool gave you that fault code? if it's generic OBD2 reader the code can be false cos normally a dedicated tester would tell you more details e.g. air flow high / low or sensor short /open, etc. Though if the code is real it's possible that there is a problem on it's circuit, here's how to check with multimeter, if the feed is missing check fuse F37 which is in a holder close to the main relay YouTube

It’s a nanocom. The message is airflow circuit current.
I’m really at a loss as to what it might be

Following on from the diagnostics I am getting 2.1 / 2.3 voltes at idle on PIN number 2 instead of 1.7. I have swapped the new MAF to the old one and got the same readings, it must be something else that is going wrong, and according to the fault list it means the voltage is too high, what else could it be?

    TD5 03-07 fault in Defender

OK everyone who is following this. I still have not found out what is the cause, I have:
Changed the MAF, (new OEM MAF)
    New air filter,
Cleaned out the air filter box,
Cleaned the connections on the MAF, MAP, and the other sensors,
Cleaned out the hose between the inter cooler and intake,
    Cleaned out the air intake
    The result exactly the same!
I have now totally disconnected the MAF and the car goes better, so until I can find out what’s the cause this will be how it will be driven.
    Cheers
