    Defender back seat into County

    Gday all
Trying to do this at the moment having a few troubles was wondering if anyone had done this before and could shed some light on my plight. Problems encountered are seats look too high and there is little leg room for passengers (when compared to original seat). Am talking about second row of seats (behind the driver) not the seats in the very back. I have all the mounts for the new seats (thanks Crump) and assume the body must be very similar if not the same as a fender, so I am a little lost as to why its not looking right. Some pics of defender back seats with door open or seats folded up would help if anyone has any (have checked the gallery, it is looking very bland at the moment).

    Thanks in advance

    Luke

My understanding is that the Defender seats are higher and do not give as much room as the County seat. Check out a Defender.

Hey Luke, cant help you with pics for obvious reasons, but the footwell on mine is 470mm wide and the step up to the cargo area is 120mm high, so that should tell you something.

As to the height thing, I know on the few occassions I carried adult passengers they had to look out the alpine windows, no way they could see out the doorwindows.

Thanks Scott pics are a great help, think there is less leg room than the original seats.

    Thanks again

Looks to me that the seats are higher and the seat cushion wider, giving less leg room as a result. Possibly sit a bit further forward too.
