Dunno if this helps, but I had no issues adding Valeo Disco keys to my Disco using the Nanocom.

Adding a Fob/security key to the BCU in Nanocom is different between the Td5 Defender and Td5 Disco. For the Disco, a security code needs to be entered in Nanocom if I understood this correctly and you only delete the first key in the list. For the Defender, all keys get deleted when Plip (only option in the menu) is used and keys/Fobs have to be added by clicking the button on the Fob a couple of times until the BCU recognises the key. Hence me being a bit apprehensive to try it.

I forgot to mention that I sent this question to Blackbox, but haven't received an answer (yet).

I really doubt that a D2 key can be sync'd to a Defender. the main reason is that the Defender doesnt have a BCU and the Lucas 10AS system is completely different than the Valeo BCU
