Discovery 4 - Startup protocol after 2 years in storage
Dear AULRO members,
I'd welcome some advice on the best approach for restarting a landrover discovery 4 (2.7 Diesel) after its been in strorage for 2 years. The car has been tucked up in the garage in a warm climate while we have been overseas. It low milage at 70k and has always been serviced. The battery is fully charged and ready to go, however I held off pressing the start button and thought it better to seek advice first. I'm a fair distance from the local dealer and wanted to avoid a recovery to the dealer just for the restart. I'm aware they are sensitive to being jump started so battery has been fully charged in the house.
Does anyone have precautionary tips I should consider before pressing the button.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
All the best
M
