    d2 bonnet cable

    looks like my bonnet latch cable might be stretched, is this common or is it something else

    Yeah mine did this and Glen managed to sort it out for me....well rip the plate off and pulled the cable out of the grill!! Did the job though as I couldn't get it open at all using the lever in cab.

    Has since been replaced with a new one.
    '99 Manual TD5 D2.......heap of money spent on it and it has ended

    Mine got replaced yesterday as well, bit of a bother when you can't look under the bonnet

    Another job done, had a hard time getting it open but eventualy did, now the new cable works perfectly
