I have the 99 discoII I fitted the amv kit, with this on the TC works alot less I don't think there is a change in the software map it's just that there is no slippage between front and rear diff's
Just out of interest on the 03 Discovery 2 when the cdl is engaged ( which was factory fitted on this model onwards ) is the traction control re-mapped to be less sensitive or not?
When I engage my cdl ( 2001 model cable kit ) with the engine running the TC is surposed to be re-mapped to be less sensitive.
Just trying to get a understanding of any changes Landrover made to this system.

Without difflock engaged one wheel is being compared to all 3 other wheels
With difflock engaged one wheel is only being compared to its opposite number on the other side of your bus
Therefore it will fire off alot less
In my D2, if I engageg difflock and then turn my bus of then back on, TC, ABS etc are disabled
maybe out if scope, but if you engage cdl when your d2 is off, if you start your disco the TC will be disabled!
