Quick dipstick check...
Argh! The sump is still filling with diesel. :eek2::BigCry:
I hope I've caught it before the intercooler filled up with oil again.
Oh well, lid off again for some more investigation after Christmas. What a pain.

Bugger. [emoji52]
Looks like it's time to replace the other four injector 'O' rings and copper washers.
A fairly easy job and doesn't take very long.
Cracked fuel supply... AMC head on the menu.
Or an M57 conversion [emoji41]
I'm hoping thats what it is, it looked ok when I tested but will check again.
If it comes to that it will be interesting. For M57 which I would like to do, I can't get a reply out of one of the conversion suppliers in the UK who does the whole kit for conversion, I can get a response from another, but its a stand alone system and not quite plug and play for full integration. If I ca'nt get a response in the new year it may be an AMC head assuming its not just leaky injector seals again.
IIRC the early heads had the return line inside the head which was problematic whereas the later heads had the external return line running back along the head which had a hose that was awkward to replace.
So there is more to the story.... lifted the lid again as the oil was still getting a lot of fuel in it and I could see that #2 was still spraying fuel into the head. Rocker bar and injector out, I'm getting good at this now.
This is when the evils became a bit more apparent. It seems that when I did the injectior o-ring and washer that I've stupidly missed the crack in the injector port wall. I can feel the crack with a scratch.
So this is a 10P engine, with a 15P head. What are the options for this motor? New head or repair? I'm guessing its AMC head.
