Disco II Snorkels
Was wondering if anyone could help me.
The Safari snorkels are now obsolete from Land Rover, you can still get them from Safari, ARB etc. I managed to find the last one in the country (well so I'm told) at a dealer in Cairns. Problem is now I have to freight it down but at $370 it's still far cheaper than buying one from anyone else, I've been quoted $520 plus fitting.......
How easy are these to fit? I am being quoted about $160 to get one fitted and I am pretty sure they should be straight forward enough, apart from the deep breath when cutting a large hole in the front guard
. Mind you I have never done this and only guessing........ Is it worth doing yourself or should I leave it to the experts? Does anyone have a copy of the instructions or LR notes on how to do this that they could send me?

Hi ******
I fitted the snorkel to our disco took my time and all worked out OK and followed the instructions .There was a slight pause and held my breath when drilling the holes. If you have not got the hole saw it might be better to pay the $160.
Regards
Dougld
