Range Rover Sport SDV8 4.4L Twin turbo.....just went in for a minor service

Ok...so my partners 2014 RR Sport is back at Landrover for a minor service. The vehicle has 125,000km on the clock.

It is 3 months out of extended warranty and the only reason it is going back to Landrover for servicing is due to a few issues that are lingering from before the extended service expired.

This service was meant to be minor...initially a number of things were picked (DPF and EGR stuffed) and amongst other items bought the bill to $8k...yes i know

But after a week of the car sitting there...I get this...

    Exhaust

Secondary turbo leaking internally, intake and exhaust system full of oil.
1 Secondary Turbo/ Left hand Turbo
    1 Turbocharger oil supply pipe
1 Exhaust pipe to turbocharger gasket
1 Turbocharger oil return pipe gasket(s)
1 Turbocharger oil supply tube to turbocharger sealing washers
1 Steering column lower shaft lower bolt
    1 Exhaust downpipe gasket(s)
    1 Exhaust clamp
    1 intake hard plastic pipe

    With a quote of $17k....

    Anyone else experienced this issue?

I am pushing for a warranty claim.
