    Cleaning my body

the underside of the body and the chassis of the Defender are covered in red dirt and stuff which is stuck in that black poo that they spray on from the factory. How do you remove the red stain? I have access to a BF'n gurney, but it wont even lift it, even on steam. Or do you just spray more poo over the top of it?

I found that a Gernie wouldn't remove mud stains.

However, what I've used which does work is CT18 truck wash. Dilute it as per the instructions, spray it on and let it dry as instructed. Then Gernie it off.

I don't know if using a steam cleaner will have bonded the dirt into the black stuff on yours.

if you want the bottom to look naet and tidy......spray it with more
sound deadener.......it will look real sexy.....but the best bit is it gives a thicker
coating of the stuff which makes it even quieter.......and this stuff also stops things from rusting and there is no exposed metal once its coated......
