Repacking a WAECO / DOMETIC Coolpower battery pack

After some 6 or 7 years service my WAECO RAPS36 Coolpower battery pack is failing and I’m considering repacking it, has anyone done one of these themselves?

I believe that I’ll need two 12V AGM cell’s, and connect them in parallel. I’ve done some preliminary research and it looks like the AGM cells will be around $80 to $100 each for 20Ah ones which is an upgrade to the original 18Ah spec. Also considering that it might be cheaper and easier just to get BATTERY WORLD do it .........Repacking a WAECO / DOMETIC Coolpower battery pack

They pull apart pretty easily, I gave mine away that came with my Waeco fridge but from memory a few screws(maybe under the feet?) and the batteries were easy to remove.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do but it was a few years ago I pulled it apart.
