    Rear quarter window defender puma

    Hi All,

    I’ve never pushed in a quarter window and was wondering if the glass is held by the seal or frame?

    I’m about to drop 30gbp plus shipping on an aluminum Infill from MUD but have a 6mm piece of aluminum that I would prefer to shape myself to fit into the quarter… if the space would accept 6mm thickness.

    Would appreciate your knowledge.

    Rear quarter window defender puma


    Fitted the mud uk infill panel (4mm thickness).

    I don’t think a thicker plate would have fit.

    Pretty easy job using silicone spray to lube the strip glazing and filler (note: filler was in the interior unlike the Fische diagram).

    Learned something new.
