I had one on my Rangie for a while. I liked to way it returned the steering to centre more quickly,However, the damper is of poor quality and lasted less than 12 months, and because of the spring the unit would not fit in the standard position with the heavy duty steering arms.
I have gone back to Bilstein as they are the best for Range Rovers, at least in my opinion and they last.

That is a wonderfull piece of advertising in that thread, If they were that good Rover would have fitted them years ago. Afterall rover has more control devises fitted than any other brand on the market and are market leaders.

I think they are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Dont do it Dirty - I have one sitting in my garage that lasted just 2 months before it gave in and started to induce wheel wobble in my Defender around corners, they are rubbish on a Defender - have heard they work OK on Disco's.

You are welcome to it if you want it.

    Go for a Bilstein.

Well I did do it, A Tuff Dog RTC SD and thus far it has made a noticable difference. being foam celled it should'nt give out to quick, fitted in 5 mins.
being on a King spring lift with Tuff dog shocks and 285x75x16R rubber it has made a difference.
Thankyou all for you input and Dhumphri if it gives up the ghost I will give you the opportunity to "I told you so"

    Daz,
Are you saying its stuffed ....or you just didnt like it because of the wheel wobble...ie was it fighting you when cornering?

If its still ok I wouldent mind trying it on our Disco....if it fits??
