There are some simple adjustments you can do to the injector pump that can make improvements to the power delivery, someone else will be able to put up the link to a previous post.

Hi, you can "adjust the turbo",by lengthening or shortening the rod between the vacuum unit on turbo and the waste gate lever.but cant remember which way you adjust it on the 300, sure someone will know

    cheers

thinking about it , is the waste gate lever seized? My 200 tdi seized and it was terrible up hill. as it happened over a period of time the change in power wasn't immediately noticeable.

fitting a boost guage (which i think is nothing more than a pressure guage) should tell you what is going on.......

how much can you increase boost pressure by before you run into problems......?
there are definitely tweaks that can be done to the pump that will make some sort of difference.......

I believe Ian from Thermoguard has a write-up on tweaking the 300tdi.

Try doing a search for Thermoguard in the forums and see what comes up.
