    Ditto to Omaroo's post.

Could you please pm the price of the side bars. I was thinking of making something similar.
Do they make them with a side step incorporated?

Originally, Scorpion manufactured the Equippe4x4 gear under licence to be more precise.

And yes, they have duplicated several things from other manufacturers, but that is the way of this Earth...

Winches, springs, bullbars etc... are copied the world over by many manufacturers.

I wouldnt say their stuff is inferior or superior to anything else.

Their finish and fit is comparable to anything else I've seen.

I'd suggest staying out of "Pommy" bitching sessions that occur in the UK and only make informed decisions based on experience.

Yes, Scorpion has duplicated some parts, and on one occasion had legal action taken to resolve the issue. This issue has resulted in Scorpion returning to reselling said item from original manufacturer.

    Local example:

Where do you think OLs tough dog springs come from? Theyre Grey powder coated King springs (down to rates and lengths even) yet priced well above King Pricing. Seems like a blatant rip off to me.

Another company buys springs from Browns Springs in Vic.
Browns sell them for $130 per pair.... They're sold for a much higher price than that. Seems like margins there are rather high too.....

Personally I've never heard any substantiated reports of problems with Scorpion OR Equippe products.

I've heard, they sag about springs but then found the spring fitted wasnt suited to the vehicle load etc... and were 2 years old.
Springs have a lifespan.... Phone any spring manufacturer and they will confirm this.

Cool Just to throw a cat amongst the pigeons

Here are my Scorpion Racing Rock/Tree sliders. Came from Ritter Automotive in Melbourne. As I remember $720. There are notches for a highlift jacking, but not holes.

I felt they were reasonabley priced for what I got.
