    Replacement radio antenna

In one of my many moments of madness I forgot to lower the radio antenna and snapped it off-roading. I have been to supercheap there doesn't appear to be a replacement for it in their catalogue the closest was a falcon antenna but it didn't give hole size on the packet.

Where can I get a replacement antenna? I have a 95 TDI Disco.

    Thanks in advance.

Bite the bullet & get a GME one

    http://www.gme.net.au/land/antennas/amfm_antennas.php

The reception is better, it'll bend but won't break in the bush, if fact if you're worried, just unscrew it.

I've got both, the 3' one for around town, the 4' one for the other side of the Great Divide.

    Regards

I could sell the bits of the fourth one..spring based and purchased from Smith's Dick.

The GME jobbie is looking good.

smash your drivers side rear window and replace it with a D2 one (if it fits) that way you'll get the antanae as well as a new window all in one

    Seriously though.

Taking the mudguard off is the best way to replace it. I've had some practice

    Hi Dobbo
Us Disco2 people are a lot larger in them regions
Have a close look next time you park next to a Disco1,better still open the back door on a D1,you will be quite surprised.
