    orange ! mark light

    I've got a 93 3.5 disco and the orange !mark light on the dash keeps coming on can any one give me any help as to why it keeps coming on.Thanks

    IIRC, it's the fuel injection system warning light. I haven't heard of one of those coming on for years.
    I can't help with a cure for your Disco though but at one stage we used to change the tune resistor for the injection ECU.

    my disco runs on lpg+petrol and when you turn the ignition on the orange light flashes like the manuel says it should but it also flashes while you are driving for 1-5 sec just when it feels like it as well

    if the management system has picked up a problem it should have logged a fault......
    get the car scanned to see what faults are registered........

    Tony you are so insightful you must have co-authored the vehicle manual.
    your anwers are almost verbatim.. If I send you my manual could you autograph it for me

    the flickering maybe a short in the actual light, if something was wrong wouldn;t it illuminate and stay on ,its not like an oil light where the sender needs to be covered and th wash of he oil in the sump can cause a flicker.
