    EE - Expedition Exchange

The EE boys are a class act and do have some pretty neat stuff on their web site. They have some very cool storage lockdown systems as well which I have seen in use. A bit pricey for the C$ but I've bought a few things from them (especially the convex Defender mirrors). They as well practice what they preach as both John and Ho have their own rigs and participate in a number of trail ride. You can always get some swag from them if you are holding an event.

The cup holder tray on my 2004 Disco td5 has broken loose of the retracting system it fits into (plastic retainers have perished/snapped off). As I have never really liked it when in use the cups obscure the air con controls and also it obstructs access to the low range / diff lock lever, I want to replace it with the cupholders that sit either side of the centre console.
And here's the question - why does the Rovers North product says 'will not fit 2003 or 2004 vehicles' and the Expedition Exchange product say 'fit all model years of the Discovery' - they look exactly the same. The latters price is higher so would prefer to buy the former but only if it will fit my model and year.
    Who knows the answer?

I demand a recall on my RRC as it does not have cup holders.

I have gone to the considerable expense of buying 2(two) X K mart Bicycle drink holders complete with 2(two) drink bottles.

These cost the considerable amount of $5 (five) each, and are fitted to the sides of the console with 2(two) bolts galvanised each with a large washer on the back.

Each has te capacity to contain 600Ml of that refreshing beverage water(H2o) , or maybe even coffee but the gearbox heat only gets to luke warm(45C)
I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS IN TECHNICAL CHATTER PRINCESSES.

    Regards Philip A
