i did the same a couple of years back, still all good.

You can also get a hard steel pipe return rail (ala Landcruiser style), as a genuine LR part. I was going to buy one but I just got my car back from a service and they'd all been replaced for $11 as a matter of course (which is $85 cheaper than the rail type funnily enough).
