2" lift and ACE URGENT info please

    Hi Guys
No Im not looking to find out if Ace is wearing high heels
An urgent answer needed over the weekend.
Ive just ordered a complete EFS +50mm suspension kit and polyairs for the rear.
The supplier has got back suggesting that only standard height should be fitted when the vehicle has ACE.
Im wondering if he has wires crossed and is thinking rear air susp and ACE.
Ive asked at all the suspension shops all have said ACE makes no difference.
Have any of you got ACE and a 2" lift??? Is all OK????

    Hi Andrew,

I have a mate with ACE and a 2" Lift.

No questions were asked and no adverse feedback on performance.

It can be done, as far as i know 50mm was the recommended maximum but Slunnie put that recomendation in the toilet and hit full flush. I think he had a significant body lift and a larger than normal suspension lift and his has ACE. SO i would say it can definitely be done, just ask Slunnie how he did it. Matt

You've got a good memory Matt!

Yeah the recommended max is 50mm, but you can go well over that. Suspension wise I'm running 4" over + 35's and the ACE is fine. I did have to change the link length on the rear swaybar, but thats about it. For 50mm you wont need to touch the ACE.
    Cheers
    Slunnie

Whilst you are here your brain is being picked in the tailshaft flange thread i posted a while ago, can you reply please. I will also catch up with you at the expo to have a chat about it, if i can get a tailshaft from somewhere i will do it the weekend after the expo. Matt
