    LT230 input gear p/n confirmation??

Currently rebuilding the LT230 from son-in-law's 2010 Puma. It had crapped an intermediate shaft bearing, intermediate gear moved back and contacted one of the bolts that protrudes slightly into the case, broke a few teeth off the gear which then went through the gearset.
Input and intermediate gear were trashed but somehow the output gears survived without any damage.

    So....
I ordered a replacement 1.2 gearset (intermediate and output gears) along with a master rebuild kit from Ashcrofts, and a replacement input gear (FTC4850) to suit the suffix G T/Case.
Unfortunately the input gear I ordered turns out to be a 38 tooth (small Q style teeth), and the 1.2 gearset they sent is the standard larger tooth style (intermediate gear P/N FRC9552). My mistake - not Ashcrofts - but means I need to get different input gear.

    I *think the input gear I need is a 28T P/N FTC5087

Can anyone confirm that or point me to a reference that shows the various combinations of P/N's ??

    Awesome - thanks Tim.

    Looks like it’s a FTC5089 I need.

a direct fit gear would be FTC4962, you can fit the FTC5089 but you will have to change the rear bearing carrier as the gear is shorter

Bugger - only just saw your reply.

Thanks. Yes - almost exactly 5mm shorter

I needed to get the vehicle mobile so ended up making a precision spacer for behind the rear cup.

Do you happen to know which suffix case had the longer rear housing?
