I guess you will go the Honda route?

Tell us about the PS pump. Might be of interest for the OKA.

Speaking of Honda . The Honda Accord hybrid also has a Bosch Gen2 iBooster , 'cheaper at wreckers as no Tesla tax.

Mine came without a master cylinder . Which I didn't mind as the Tesla master cylinder has a weird gooseneck shaped reservoir, I bought a 90's Honda Accord non ABS 23.8mm master cylinder because it looked like it had the same mounting style & luckily its flange fits the 100mm Tesla bolt holes but I did need to make pushrod extender which fits up inside the Honda pushrod tube, so not going anywhere.

The 130 rims have the big valve hole for the tube valve and the TR415 but my fitter phoned and said he can not use the TR415 valves as the new Wolf rims have a smaller hole. That means I cant take a tube with me as insurance now.
I just have to hope two spares is enough.

If you do get a flat tubeless are a lot easier to repair, once you find the hole that is.
Ive never had a flat with a tubeless tyre, I don't know why I bother carrying 2 spares to be honest.

I have had a valve stem 'pop' out mysteriously while I was parked though, The more I think about it I think someone might have cut it off with a knife.

I have not run tubeless before and I was thinking of major damage a plug cant fix. But I will take a tube anyway and my Ryobi drill. Just run a bigger bit through the valve hole to suit the TR 415,s if I need too.

I probably wouldn't do that, certainly not unless a last resort and you've got flat tyres on the two spare tyres. The section of the wolf rims where the valve hole is a lot shallower than a traditional rim, which is why they have a small valve hole to begin with.

Because they are safety rims you might struggle to get the bead off the rim to insert a tube anyway.

Maybe take some tyre slime to Liquid patch as a backup.

So thats why they are smaller. It would only be a last resort anyway. Two spares should be enough. I have been carrying a R&R Beadbreaker and puncture repair patches around for years and never used either. Touch wood.

Thanks for the link for the liquid patch stuff. I will get some for the rideon mower. Its tyres are cracked and always flat.

I got sick of the Wheelbarrow tyre and cement mixer tyres going flat , The liquid goop fixed those good, so should work a treat on the ride-on.

TRW Electric pump off an Astra - HOLDEN TS ASTRA ELECTRIC POWER STEERING PUMP TRW BRAND 3 Wire For Conversions | eBay

Plentiful and not expensive. They need a decent 12 volt supply but only draw a few amps most of the time - on startup and at full lock they do pull around 20 odd amps but for very short durations. Like the electric booster it is just 3 wires - a 30 amp 12 volt supply, a decent ground and a small 12 volt aux supply - I ran this through a switch on the dash so I can turn it off as needed because I only really need it when parking etc - I find it gives too light a feel at normal road speeds. They can be hooked up to a speed sensor which varies the output if you want to get carried away. You can stick them basically anywhere you have room and just run the hoses to the power steering box - no mucking around mounting it on the engine and working out pullies.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Thanks, Gav. I'll have to check if they have sufficient oomph for the OKA. Mine leaks, and this may be a cheaper fix.

Need a front disc brake conversion

The grunt required to turn the 37” tyres on the 101 is quite large compared to an Astra and it makes light work of that job. Not sure on if the specs are readily available but I should think it would work on the OKA - certainly worth looking into IMO. Need a front disc brake conversion
