    Fact:

    Well we (CJ and I) did.... so it is possible..not easy but possible...

    I don't dream these things up

    CJ has some very fine drill bits (~1mm ) and with some gentle pressure on the spring steel you can make sufficient indent to get purchase on the c clip.
