I drained the transfer case oil on the 130 today. The oil looked a bit metallic and there were a few bits of metal on the magnetic drain plug. I'm wondering if you blokes think this is anything to worry about? I'm sure a little bit of metal is normal?

Yeah as mentioned, that's a bad one.
That will leave your stranded somewhere, needs pulling down immediately.

I reckon you just strain the oil through a seive and use it to refill the transfer case. There are plenty more teeth left!

I have a pile of boxes in the spare room containing every component other than the case itself; new gears, shafts, bearings, selector forks etc. Also have a reco gearbox on the way from Ashcrofts. The TC can wait until the gearbox arrives. Maybe. Just.
