    Need Help - TD5 Immobilisor

I have a 1999 TD5 that does not have key fobs or central locking.

My son was playing around with the Nanocom and he accidently re-programmed the country setting. No previous settings were saved.

This has activated the immobiliser - the red alarm light is on, the red engine light with a strike through it comes on if I try to start and the horn sounds.

Is there a way to use the Nanocom to switch off the immobiliser?

I've bought the Nanocom 2nd had, so I can't join the Nanocom forum, as the product is already registered to another account, I've sent an email as there was no phone support.

    Thanks in advance, Michael

Nanocom can read it if you don’t have it written down

While at it, Nanocom can also change it to something manageable. Mine is 01-01-01-01.

How do you enter a EKA if you don't have central locking, oor any writing to the for lock?

    Do you use the ignition?

I can see the EKA on the Nanocom

EKA is used on the driver's door. If that's not available...... good question. Is it not wired in at all? "No central locking" can mean many things on a D2.

Have a read here: You might find something. If I can get back into the BBS forum I'll see what I can see, but maybe one of the gurus, like sieraafery, could chime in in the meantime.

Ok, so on the Nanocom I went to :

    AS10 menu
    Settings
Settings Group 1 - disabled all options
Settings Group 2 - disabled all options
    Write Settings

That got rid of the red flashing light, and the car started and beeped the horn once.

After that it started without any immobiliser lights or horn beeps.

    I think it's sorted.

Edit : I just had to go back and change the interior light setting to SMART, otherwise it didn't turn on with the door open.

    Hello Michael2,
    I had the same problem

What did you select under Settings Group 2 - Immobilizer?

    Thanks,
