    Raaaaaaooooorrrr!

That's what my DII V8 will sound like tomorrow after it gets it's new sports exhaust system.

    I'll keep you posted.

Sick of it sounding like a sewing machine and still burning all that unleaded.

Now I'm gunna scare old ladies and spend long periods in underground car parks with the windows down.

I've got a 2.5" exhaust with a dynomax muffler (no rear muffler) on my rangie, I love the sound of it, but some others don't, I even been abused by a pushbike rider for being an idiot, I think he was just jealous cause my rangie sounded better than his pushbike.

Nice one! Considering this myself at some stage. What dort of $ am I looking at? Does it include extractors or just everything back from the exhaust manifold?
Pictures and sound would be great.

At this stage I'm looking at getting everything from the cats back in 2/14 twin system mild steel for about $1000!

But the guy is just looking into whether the twin system will work or not!

Should be calling me soon. The place is full of racing cars so I'm feeling pretty confident.

OK, Well the news is great. They dyno tested the landy and found that the catalytic converters were non restrictive. The Standard 2 1/2 exhaust system was fine and there were no benefits in changing that

    BUT

The standard Muffler after just 50K had completely collapsed and was cactus! So it now has a 2 1/2 inch straight through sports "turbo" muffler for the grand totla of $250.

    I recomend these guys... http://www.4wdworld.com.au/outlets/tuning/index.htm

    Speak to john.

He also said the Ticking (See Tick Whirr Whirr Post) in my engine that no LAnd Rover "Technician" had been able to find was a lifter and that the V8 had priobably chewed the lobe of the cam by now and damaged the lifter. off To MR in the morning.

1 step forward 2 steps back.

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
