QH specify part number QL16103 (RTC3458) for rear Disc braked Fenders...

I'm looking for the Spicer H/D joint right now.

CBC don't have a listing for LR uni's, but I suspect that will stock the right type. I found a listing for LR (Mid 90's) in a Supercheap store, and whilst I didn't note the P/No, I did notice the listing for the non-greasable version is the same as a Ford fairlane. Apparantly it is a standard 75mm uni. I had a look at the Hardy Spicer website , but couldn't find anything. For comparison, up here at TR spares, they sell a generic verson of RTC3458 (greasable) $35 ea.

after much digging, internet surfing and a few phone calls to contacts
I have identified them (on paper) as hardy spicer K5L4R uni joints
I have ordered 4 from my local CBC and will let you know if they don't fit
    fingers crossed

K5L4R suits early series ll 109 + 88'' and the swivel housings in series ll + lll. They are about 6mm narrower overall.
Series lll and my rangie 4spd are K513XR

Guys will this info do? Straight from Hardy Spicer

We offer 3 joints that would fit your vehicles standard 1300 series shafts.

K5-L4R is standard aftermarket side greasable joint
K5-A757 is heavy duty side greasable thrust pad joint (basically the same as OEM type)

Another option would be GWB 687.15 joint which is significantly higher torque capacity than the 1300 series joints but same dimensionally. It is available in standard centre lube , solid cross non lube and lube in cap versions. We only stock the centre lube version which should fit dimensionally and be the strongest but may be an issue with clearance of the grease nipple and may require modification of yokes to fit the bigger cross body. Part no is K5-A727. The other types are available on an indent basis from Germany.
