It gets the Injector codes and then 'learn security' to link it to the vehicle.
However!....... I have the ability to remove the security from TD5 ECUs meaning they will just drop in and work. This will allow one to run on another vehicle, even though the codes are wrong. It will still run OK, just not quite as emmissions compliant.
Which when in the middle of nowhere, I dont care about... I just want to get home!
Sounds great. Now heres a cunning plan, can you rent these out as a security blanket for travelling AULRO members?
Those on long trips could keep it in a sealed container until required. If not used, return it at no extra cost other than the rental fee. If opened and fitted, a charge is made on its return to evaluate its integrity and any repair costs needed.
Just a thought.
