    DIY sliders

    hey

now don't hold your breath, my projects can drag along

the other weekend i slid into a rut and the side bars flexed that much that it damaged the sill and a small dent in the guard

i search the forum and found sclarke's post on the sliders he made, steve was kind enough to send his pics as well, thanks steve

i sourced some 75mm x 50mm RHS for nicks which is a good start although i may go the 100mm. i will have to wait till i get the side bar/steps and sills off and see how it looks

i hoping to put some round hi lift jacks point in as well

i was thinking of making them a receiver tank for my compressor but i have not had a need to date for a large volume of air, will see when i get get close to the end

will keep you posted as i move the project along

happy to read any tips advice
