Hey, I got a D90 too, not too far from you. Guildford actually.
Haven't seen your car arround, mine's dark blue.
I like the improved tank. How can I get one? How much are they?

As above, I would also like more info.
Did it come with a transfer pump? (looks low enough to use a balance tube to the original tank).
Can it be filled via a "Y" filler using the existing fill point?
The shot with the red jack in view shows a fitting in the bottom RH Corner of the tank, what is that?
    Looks great!

i was waiting for one of you to reply!

the tank was a show special at $440 retail is $475. comes from opposite lock. i got mine from Gordan at alexandria OL. the front bracket need modding, nothing to hard. i was in contact with the manufacturer he was in the process of sending new correct front brackets to gordan.

trev, the low pipe is unfortunely the pick up for the transfer pump. im considering cutting it off and fitting a top feed pick up,, like a straw,,,
it comes with all the clamps hoses and SS tee pieces you need, also a transfer pump filler neck and locking cap... i threw the last 2 out cos i reckon it would look like crap!

i dont see why you couldnt fit a y pipe to fill from one point.

    cheers phil

Its a shame about the pick up point. The left corner would have been a bit more protected. The price is ok, reasonable compared to what I have been quoted in the past. ($1000 fitted for a Def90 "special" tank). Is it baffled or strengthened to prevent tank flex?

ide say its baffeled, because you cant flex the large sides. dosent expand when presurised.

when im done i'll have a large chunk of alloy plate under it as extra protection.
