Smile Rear Disc Brake Conversion 110

While on a fishing trip at Old Mapoon a couple of months ago, a few guy's from British Off Road stopped by on their way back from the Top. We all had a bit of a chat about how good the vehicles we drive are, and the subject got on to a rear disc brake conversion for the 110. Anyone have any experience with these?. Apparently the braking is beaut and no fade when their wet. It was suggested that it would be great to do while I get Maxi-Drive lockers/axles installed.
Now I'm a bit sceptical, I've heard of, and seen 130's wearing the rotors and pads out in 40,000 KM, admittedly in extreme conditions, but rotors are not cheap. Any 130's out there care to comment?. To tell the truth, I am assuming they are one in the same. Has anyone had these fitted?.

I believe 110 and 130 rear disc brakes are differant, the 130 has a larger disc. I have not heard of any problems with wear, cheap pads or conditions may have an effect on premature wear.

Yeah, got that link thanks DirtyDawg, it's a really good setup, hopefully we can get them here soon, but I was looking at replacing my rear drum wheel brakes with a disc brake conversion, much like the later model Defenders, but still retain the stronger wheel bearing/axle/diff in my County. I read somewhere recently, that Tenix is fitting this(or other) conversion to the reconditioned Perenties, under the Bushranger Phase One Project. Discoute, I didn't know they were different, but it stands to reason....... I think I'll have to contact British Off Road to find out what the drum is......

Fit the complete Salisbury rear end from a post-93 but pre-Rover diffed Defender. Early Defenders also had drum brakes. The latest use the Rove style diff.

after a bit of research I came up with the following:

http://www.heystee-automotive.com/ (series only conversion kits?? - no mention of 110 or county kits on the webpage, unknown at this stage)

    http://www.zeus.uk.com/land-rover.php

which are distributed by Yican in Victoria (zeus have had some issues with the "timing gears" if you believe some complaints online)

there is also a bearmach kit for series landies... looks suspiciously like the heystee engineering kit to me!

does maxidrive actually make a kit? - I've got no idea... basically no mention on anything google turned up, or from anything I've read in the UK landy mags
