They look pretty good to me aswell.
Do any of the experts here know whether it will produce noticeable results? Noticeably increased power? Better economy?
And is it easy to install? ie unbolt old intercooler and bolt in new one?

"Just" upgrading intercooler doesn't do heaps for performance on it's own
The performance increase are, it will
    a) cool the charge air better & therefore make charge air denser (make your truck run like its in cooler weather when its warmer, ever noticed how breathless tdis get in 40 degree heat? well that affect will be reduced)
    b) flow better so your engine will see a little more air at a little better pressure even though you haven't altered your boost.

other reasons to upgrade intercooler are
It will reduce thermal load on engine, as the charge air goes in to the cylinder cooler the whole cycle is cooler and therefore less taxing on pistons, cyl head, valves ect
even the EGT's will be slightly reduced so better for turbo,
Because of this the engine (fuel & boost) can be tuned up for more power without exceeding (or exceeding by less) the original thermal load on the engine
This way you can increase HP without decreasing unacceptability engine life.

Economy is hard to gauge as it is controlled by the drivers right foot,
in theroy more HP could equal better economy but most drivers (myself included) use the extra power rather than keep it for stand by
power is in direct ratio to fuel so economy goes out the window.
    Example,
I've just put a HS2.8 in my defender it is 100% standard (still letting it run in) and I'm getting the worst fuel economy I've ever got out of it ,
mind you, it absolutely flys I cruise up hills at 110 (accelerating) in 5th gear (these same hills that used to slow me down to 80kms and hit 3rd gear with std tdi)
So I know where my fuel economy is going

Is (should be) very easy install
    remove I/C hoses
remove (pull back) fan cowl (probably the hardest part)
    unbolt top radiator-I/C support
    slide out old I/C
    slide in new I/C
    and reverse above

I don't sell silicone hose "kits" as such but do sell both straight & bent hoses
On mine I have replaced the lower straight joiner from intercooler pipe to cooler & the top hose with straight silicone hose.
(the top one fits OK without the bends, it's not 100% but OK, and better than the old hard rubber hose that I kept blowing off with my HS2.8 boost )
The Tdi elbow (bent) hose off the turbo haven't managed to find in silicone yet, its 40mm off the turbo up to 50mm on the pipe and no one I've found makes them (still looking)
