    defender trailer hubs

Does anyone know where i can get a set to fit a 45mm trailer axel in the Brisbane area.

Juat been talking to a bloke and he says that the Land Rover defender stud pattern has change a few times over the years of production . ( so was that before 1948 or after 2006) mmmmm so not much confidence in him.
Been talking to Alko (or what ever they are called , and they can't help) they say the hub pattern is too big.

So does anyone know of any company that can help me change from crappy Toyota hubs to Landy ones

    Cheers

I don't know of the defender but my D2 has the same stud pattern as a holden commodore but the holes are enlarged and the rims have a huge offset in comparison to a commodore rim

I no this is not much but every bit helps

    Good luck

you should be able to get blank hubs and get them drilled to suit land rover PCD and have the studs fitted, would think any of the bigger trailer builder should be abale to arrange

have a read here as well

Landrover stud pattern remained identical from 1948 to current Defender, including Disco 1 and Classic Rangerover. The only change was right at the end of Series 2a production the studs went from 9/16BSF to 16mm, but the pattern was not changed and the wheels remained the same.

What I did was simply turned up a pair of sleeves to fit my existing trailer axle and take Series wheel bearings, and fitted a pair of Series hubs and bearings.
